
Ulysses and Jesse Terrero and Freddy Vargas of the Dominican Republic won the prize for the Best Documentary at the Rolling Stones Spanish Awards for their production “Hip Hop x Siempre” (Hip Hop Forever).
Hip Hop Forever is a production of Amazon Music and Cinema Giants. It celebrates the 50th anniversary of the hip-hop genre of urban music and the contributions to the genre made by Latino artists such as Residente, Villano Antillano and Eladio Carrion.
Freddy Vargas has been working in production in New York City since 2013 and has made a host of full-length films. Jesse Terrero is a well-known producer of Dominican musical videos, especially for Wisin & Yandel, a big name in Dominican urban music. His brother Ulysses is best known for his skills as a casting director and as the director of popular musical videos such as Aventura’s “Ella y yo.”
