
Arajet has begun its flights from Santo Domingo (SDQ) to Toronto (YYZ). The flights are on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Ambassador Hans Dannenberg was at the Toronto Pearson International Airport to greet the first arrivals with officials of Arajet.
Arajet is promoting the flight as a way for Canadians to enjoy a multi-destination vacation. Canadians can connect in Santo Domingo to more than 10 countries in the Caribbean and South America.
Arajet flies brand new Boeing 737-8 Max aircraft with a capacity for 185 passengers. Boeing was a sponsor of the event in Toronto. At the event, it was announced that Arajet has 45 planes on order and plans to increase its current service to 22 destinations in 16 countries over the coming years.
Arajet will commence flights to Montreal, Canada’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), on 7 November 2023, with flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
