The National Council of Export Free Zones (CNZFE) announced the approval for installation under the beneficial tax regime of 14 new companies. Minister Victor Bisono, chair of the CNZFE board, said the companies will invest RD$415.2 million in setting up their operations, creating 1,479 new direct jobs and generating an estimated US$12.2 million in hard currency.
The same board had approved another 12 in September 2023.
