“Freddy,” the movie opens at Caribbean Cinema movie theaters nationwide. The film presents several known and less known outstanding moments of the beloved TV host. His son, Giancarlos Beras-Goico, directed the film. Augusto Feria, Luis Jose German and Nicolas Garrido star in the role of Freddy Beras Goico in his late, middle and childhood years.
Freddy Beras Goico was a fatherly-style famous “El Gordo de la Semana” Sunday show TV host known for his community activism and his excellent communication skills. He died of cancer in 2010.
