The nation is in mourning over the tragic happenings due to the intense rains of the 17, 18 and 19 November 2023, yet this weekend event organizers announce the show must go on. Shows that would have been held over that past weekend and that were postponed due to the intense rains are now reprogrammed.

Listin Diario lists several of the leading shows on the weekend entertainment agenda. Tickets can be purchased at the venues and most online at Uepa Tickets.

Cinderella is at the National Theater in Santo Domingo with two performances on Sunday, 26 November at 4pm and 7pm. The cast includes Cecilia García, Hony Estrella, Luz García, Miguel Lendor (Papachín), Ana Rivas, Carolina Rivas, Raeldo López, Juanma García, Sócrates Montás and Gabriela Gómez.

Singer and songwriter Alex Ferreira will perform this Friday 24 November, at La Logia, in Santo Domingo as part of Isle of Light 2023. His performance here follows his tour of Spain, Panama and Mexico.

Chefs will be hard at work at the Mirador del Este Park starting at 11am in their quest for the Guinness World Record for the largest Dominican sancocho in history. The event is part of the Flavor Fusion Fest at the Mirador del Este on Saturday, 25 November.

Merengue star Manny Cruz will sing on Sunday, 26 November, at the Puerto Plata amphitheater on National Merengue Day. The concert is free of charge and is scheduled for 6:30pm. Tickets need to be booked at Uepa Tickets physical outlets.
