Take out the sweaters. A cold front and lots of rain is forecast for most of the Dominican Republic for Monday and Tuesday, 18 and 19 December.
The Weather Office (Onamet) says that Greater Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, San Pedro de Macorís, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San José de Ocoa, Monseñor Nouel (Bonao), Independencia, Pedernales, Bahoruco, Dajabón, Santiago, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez and Sánchez Ramírez will all get a good amounts of rain.
Lows of 18-19C in the early morning can be expected in the provinces of Puerto Plata, Santiago, La Vega, Duarte (San Francisco de Macoris), San Jose de Ocoa, Montecristi, Azua, San Juan de la Maguana and San Cristobal. Lows of 10-12 degrees are forecast for Constanza in La Vega.
