A propane gas explosion at Cafeteria Oscari in Palenque, San Cristobal seriously damaged 11 small businesses and three dwellings. The blast occurred on Tuesday, 19 December 2023. Five persons – three men and two women — were injured, two with severe burns and wounds.
The injured were taken to the Juan Pablo Pina Regional Hospital in San Cristobal.
