Reilin Arismendy Rosario García, one of seven under arrest in the Operacion Nido is collaborating with the prosecutors. More than 200 persons are accusing Indisarq of real estate fraud. The lawyer for Reilin Arismendy Rosario Garcia, who worked for two years selling property for the company, is also seeking domiciliary arrest for his client as the case is heard, Acento reports.
Lawyer Robinson Reyes explained that Rosario García worked for the real estate company IndisArq for two years, but that he resigned when he realized that the apartments he had sold were also offered to other persons. The lawyer said he had placed a legal recourse against Rivera Ledesma before the scandal broke.
“When he saw this type of irregularity, he did not want to be part of it and left the company,” he said.
He argued that his client has more than eight years selling real estate area and that he was hired for his sales capabilities.
The Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the National District is hearing prosecutors request for pretrial custody. Some 200 victims are requesting reimbursement of their deposits. As reported, around 300 properties were sold.
The Public Ministry has established that the scam carried out by the dismantled network amounts to more than RD$700 million pesos and affects mostly Dominican expats who believed the offer with its comfortable financial plans for property in eastern Santo Domingo.
In the investigation of the prosecution body, Emmanuel Rivera Ledesma, his sister Mirna Catalina Rivera Ledesma, his son Emmanuel Eduardo Rivera Pichardo, his daughter María Gabriela Rivera Pichardo, his wife Escarlet Mercedes Cruz Figueroa, Reilin Arismendy Rosario García and Juan Omar Rosario López and the companies Inmobiliaria & Diseños Arquitectónico, Indisarq and CRD Heavy Equipment, SRL, RNC.
As reported, as the case develops, the prosecutors have changed their original request and now are asking for domiciliary arrest for collaborator Reilin Arismendy Rosario Garcia, for the wife of Rivera Ledesma, Escarlet Mercedes Cruz Figueroa and his daughter Maria Gabriela Rivera Pichardo.
