The organizers of the Premios Soberanos have announced that TV and radio host Jochy Santos and actress Hony Estrella are the choice for presenters of the entertainment night of stars. Santos is recognized as Estrella’s mentor in show business.
The Soberano Awards are in their 39th year. The event is organized by the Association of Arts Chroniclers (Acroarte) and sponsored by Presidente Beer.
Estrella said she is putting on hold most of her present commitments to prepare for the show set for Tuesday, 12 March 2024. At present, she is rehearsing for Mariposas de Acero. Jochy Santos served as host for the show in 1998 when the awards were known as Premios Casandra, in honor of the legendary merengue singer and dancer.
