The Tigres del Licey didn’t have it easy, but they managed to beat the Gigantes del Cibao on Wednesday, 10 January 2024 at the Quisqueya Ballpark in Santo Domingo. The Gigantes had started the game with a home run by Marcell Ozuna, the Atlanta Braves star slugger. The game would end, nevertheless, with a 7-4 victory over the Gigantes, bringing the Licey to tie with the Estrellas Orientales in the 18-game round-robin that concludes on 18 January 2024.
The round-robin decides the two playoff teams.
