A third son of US Baseball Hall of Fame member Vladimir Guerrero signed with Major League Baseball. This week, Vladi Miguel Guerrero Ogando was signed by the New York Mets at the Mets Academy in Jubey, Boca Chica. 17-year old Guerrero Ogando received US$117,000 plus another US$60,000 for his studies. He was born in Miami, Florida.
In 2023, the Texas Rangers had signed his brother, Pablo Guerrero for US$150,000. In 2015, the Blue Jays signed Vladimir Guerrero for US$4 million.
