Guillermo Moreno, recently named candidate to senator for the National District for the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party, has stated he is not in favor of abortion but supports the three exceptions to the ban on abortions.
Moreno targeted his main opponent for the capital city senatorial seat, Omar Fernandez, son of three-term President Leonel Fernandez. He said that Omar Fernandez represents the past.
