Punta Cana is preparing to celebrate its iconic Punta Cana Carnival in Puntacana Village, a major shopping and residential area, this coming Saturday, 3 February 2024. The event has been going on for 15 years and is regarded as one of the most organized carnivals in the country. It gathers parades of the best carnival representations from around the country.
The Punta Cana Carnival got started in 2008 as an initiative of the Grupo Puntacana. The idea was to promote folklore traditions of the Dominican Republic and invited countries to the thousands of local and foreign visitors in the Punta Cana area.
