The Banco BHD received approval from the Official Credit Institute of Spain (ICO) for a line of credit of up to US$50,000,000 to finance investment projects of business clients who have shareholders of Spanish origin or who acquire goods or services from Spain.
Steven Puig, president of Banco BHD, explained that the funds will be used to finance business projects and loans that involve a sustainability component and that contribute to sustainable development, growth and distribution of wealth and the creation of jobs.
Also to projects destined to combat climate change and those that are aligned with the main global agendas for development.
The funds will be available until October 2024. The terms of these financings range from 180 days to 10 years.
