The Office for the Reorganization of Transportation (Opret) reported on Monday, 29 January 2024 that maintenance works continue on the Santo Domingo Cable Car. The skylift will be out of operation until further notice.
Opret says that the government-owned Metropolitan Bus Services Office (Omsa) is doublings its passenger capacity on the routes that run from the Los Tres Brazos (T2) station to the Ercilia Pepín of the Santo Domingo Metro and vice versa to serve the public that uses the skylift. Omsa fares are a low RD$15.
Omsa buses were also sent to cover the route that runs from the Sabana Pérdida Station (T3) to the Rosa Duarte Metro and vice versa.
