The Dominican Consulate in New York City and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) of the Dominican Republic announced an extensive international scholarship program for Dominicans residing in the Big Apple and surrounding areas.
Winners get full scholarships for the following courses:
Academic Guidance
Referral for Universities
Guidance on Obtaining Academic Scholarships Referral to English as a Second Language Courses Referral to Higher School Programs (GED)
Referral for the Validation of University Degrees
Referral for Computer and Technology Courses Referral for Admission to Universities,
Referral for vocational courses and programs,
Referral for American Citizenship classes.
Applications will be accepted until the 25 of February, it was reported.
These services will be offered free of charge, in person and/or virtually, it was reported.
