Featuring France as the invited nation, this year’s Agricultural Fair got underway at the Cattle Fairgrounds in Santo Domingo’s Malecon. The fair is running from Friday, 8 March to Sunday, 17 March 2024.
President Luis Abinader attended the opening on Friday.
Some 400 companies tied to the farming industry are exhibiting and selling their products and visitors can see prime examples of beef and milk cows, goats, sheep, and horses. Water farming and bee-keeping models are also on exhibit this year.
The Feria Ganadera is an opportunity to purchase farm and artisanal goods, such as essential oils, from the producers at promotional prices.
