Inflation low in February

The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD) reports that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered a monthly variation of 0.09% in February 2024. This brings the interannual inflation (measured from February 2023 to February 2024) to 3.30%, below the annual target range of 4.0% ± 1.0% established in the 2024 monetary program.

The BCRD indicates that the country’s inflation is among the lowest in the region.
