Marriott International has announced the rebranding of the Sunrise Miches Beach Resort. The new hotel will reopen in early 2025 as the Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort by Marriott Bonvoy.
Miches is located an hour north drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, on a paved highway.
The Marriott Miches Beach will have 498 rooms with balconies and terraces and the property has around 300 meters of beachfront.
Miches is the most recent new beach destination in the Dominican Republic. The first hotel to open there was the Miches Club Med.
Major chains are opening all-inclusive resorts after the success of the operations in the Dominican Republic for years. Today, the DR is the leading Caribbean beach destination.
