A fifth child has died due to burns suffered from the imprudent detonating of fireworks at the Salcedo Carnival on 10 March 2024.
The fifth child to die is 15-year old César Polonia, who was hospitalized in the burns unit of the Robert Reid Cabral Children’s Hospital in Santo Domingo.
