A four-month stint in radio was enough for the two key persons of Somos Pueblo to decide it was too absorbing. The lead team of Somos Pueblo Radio, Ricardo Ripoll and Eduardo Sanchez Tolentino (El Piro) thanked their audience and committed to continue as of Friday, 22 March 2024 to stick only to YouTube, Somos Pueblo Media. The other two making up the highly-rated radio news airing since 6 December 2023 on La Bakana 105.7 FM were communicator Karina Sanchez and lawyer Reemberto Pichardo.
Ripoll said it was a difficult decision but convinced them they should continue to instead bolster their strengths within social media venues. The news commentators said they reached the point where they understood they did not have the time and energy to do it all and were diluting their years of efforts to build a name for themselves in social media.
The twosome explained they have underway new projects that have suffered because the 10 to 12pm program was too absorbing. They apologized to their new radio audience.
The program had begun in December 2023 after RCC Media accepted a proposal for the space made by Ripoll and El Piro. The last program will air on Friday, 22 March 2024.
