Due to work being done on the main access route into the city of Samana, the National Transit and Transportation Institute (Intrant) has created a bypass that will allow visitors to the city to go around the bottleneck. The detour is a road without a name that goes by the Samana baseball stadium and nears the waters of Samana Bay. Patience is required as the increased traffic and the smaller road will cause traffic tie-ups.
