Three to await trial in jail in case of death of 9-year old Kylie Rosa

The Permanent Attention Office of the National District ordered three months of preventive detention against three of the four involved in the death of the nine-year-old girl Kylie Naomi Rosa Alcántara, during an alleged assault on Máximo Gómez Avenue with Nicolás de Ovando on Saturday, 6 April 2024.

Judge Fátima Veloz sent the defendants to different penitentiary centers to comply with the coercive measure. José Alberto Figueroa (Nano) was sent to CCR-17 in Najayo, San Cristóbal, while Marcus Anthony Sánchez (Ramirito) went to CCR in San Pedro, and Luis Sandy Manzueta went to CCR Najayo 20, also in San Cristobal.

The case of a fourth suspect, Andy Matos (Puchinga) will be heard at the corresponding court for minors.

The four were in the process of robbing a business, when a mother and her nine-year old daughter, were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The child was walking past the situation with her mother. The mother was physically unharmed yet the child was reported dead when arriving to the nearby Cruz Jiminián clinic.
