Dominican gymnast Audrys Nin Reyes won the silver medal during the vault mode at the FIG World Challenge Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, in Koper, Slovenia. The event was an Olympic qualifier and preparation for the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Nin Reyes had previously qualified to compete in the summer Olympic Games.
Nin Reyes finished in Koper with a total score of 14,300 only surpassed by Spaniard Pau Jimenez, who won gold with 14,400. The Dominican gymnast had been the favorite to win the competition, but he had problems controlling the land of his Dragulescu.
The three competitors are expected to meet again for the Paris Olympic Games.
