Journalist Nairobi Viloria has been appointed as the new director of Communications for the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), replacing Noemí Herrera, who had been serving in the position on an interim basis.
Viloria explained it is contract work and she is not named by decree nor will be an employee of the Attorney General Office.
Viloria only recently joined renowned TV presenter Mariasela Alvarez as co-host for the very popular Esta Noche con Mariasela TV 8pm variety show. She will continue on the variety show and with other other media endeavors.
Throughout her career, Viloria has been awarded on multiple occasions, including the World Vision Children’s Journalism Award in 2023. She was also the winner in the “Announcer of the Year” category at the Soberano Awards 2021.
Nairobi Viloria is a native of Cotui, Sanchez Ramirez province, and has more than 17 years of experience in the media.
