Viva Resorts by Wyndham is offering a special grand opening promotion for stays at its new Viva Miches resort, with rates discounted by up to 40% for bookings made by 31 July 2024 for travel from the hotel opening on 11 December 2024 to 22 December 2025. The promotion includes benefits like best rate guarantee, early check-in, preferred room location, free in-room safe, and late check-out. Rates start at US$128 per person double occupancy.
Viva Miches is a new all-inclusive resort by Wyndham that is set to open in December 2024 in Miches on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. The area is known for its pristine beaches and turquoise waters.
The Viva Miches resort will feature 538 superior rooms, including some with private plunge pools. Guests can enjoy four outdoor pools, unlimited dining and drinks, and a variety of amenities and activities. The resort is described as having a “vibrant adults-only” atmosphere with a “hip elegance” and “relaxed, yet active and modern ambiance”.
With an investment of US$80 million for the first phase, Viva Miches sets the stage for future expansion, with a second phase planned to bring the resort to approximately 750 rooms and a total investment of US$130 million.
The resort is built on 290,000 square meters in the new beach destination of Miches, a new beach destination in the Dominican Republic located a 90-minute drive from the Punta Cana International Airport. The first resort to open in the area was the Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda. Other all-inclusive resorts are the Zemi Hilton Resort, Desire Miches Resort Punta Cana, a couples only, Temptation Miches Resort, Sunrise Miches Beach Resort, and Domescape Glamping Miches.
For nature enthusiasts, the Miches area hotels offer excursions to nearby attractions like Los Haitises National Park, Laguna Limón, and the Instagram-famous hilltop swings of Montaña Redonda.
The Viva Miches resort also supports sea turtle conservation through its partnership with the Protortuga organization.
Viva Miches is the sixth all-inclusive Viva Resort in the Dominican Republic. Others are Viva Dominicus, Viva Dominicus Palace in La Altagracia-La Romana, Viva V Samana in Coson, Samana; Viva Tangerine in Cabarete and Viva Heavens in Playa Dorada, both in Puerto Plata.
Viva Resorts by Wyndham also operates hotels in Mexico and the Bahamas.
