DR starts Final Six volleyball cup defeating Cuba

In its first game at the start of the 4th edition of the Norceca Women’s Final Six Tournament, the Reinas del Caribe, the Dominican Republic senior volleyball team, defeated Team Cuba in three sets (25-22, 25-14 and 25-18).

Earlier in the evening, the USA matched Mexico in a most contested match. The USA won 3-0, but the first two matches ended 33-31 and 27-25, evidence of the great battle on the court.

The tournament is ongoing at the Professor Ricardo (Gioriber) Arias Volleyball Palace in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in Santo Domingo from 26 June to 1 July.
