The Luisito Marti Amphitheater at Parque del Este in eastern Santo Domingo will be presenting several leading merengue stars this coming Saturday, 17 August 2024, starting at 5pm. The event is promoted as the Santo Domingo East Festival del Merengue. This weekend is a long weekend with Friday, 16 August a historic holiday that coincides the start of the second term of President Luis Abinader.
