Socrates McKinney, of Dominican Fashion Week-fame, is organizing the RD Bridal Fashion Week 2024 for the recently-opened Kimpton Las Mercedes. The hotel opened in a renovated historic edifice on Calle Las Mercedes in the Colonial City. The bridal promotion event will take place 6 to 8 September 2024. The Colonial City is a popular destination for weddings.
McKinney says the three-day extravaganza will showcase the work of top Dominican fashion designers and bridal houses.
“We are honored to host the inaugural RD Bridal Fashion Week at Kimpton Las Mercedes,” said Marta Amengual, general manager of the hotel. “We believe that our hotel will become the go-to destination for couples planning their special day.”
