Three new vice ministers at the Ministry of Environment

President Luis Abinader appointed new vice ministers at the Ministry of Environment. For his second term of government, President Abinader had appointed lawyer Paino Henriquez to lead the Ministry of Environment.

Via Decree 483-24, the President appointed Carlos Augusto Batista Batista as Vice Minister for Protected Areas and Biodiversity. He replaces Federico Franco.

Lenin Ramon Bueno Rodriguez is appointed Vice Minister for Environmental Management (Gestion Ambiental). He replaces Indhira De Jesús.

He also appointed Ana Emilia Pimentel Rodriguez to Climate Change and Sustainability. She replaces Milagros De Camps who had resigned from the position as also vice minister for international cooperation after four years on the job.
