DR wins its start games at the Concacaf League of Nations championship

The Dominican Republic has won its first two matches in the Concacaf League of Nations tournament that kicked off on 4 September 2024 featuring the Confederation’s 41 men’s senior national teams. The DR defeated Bermuda (3-2) on 7 September and Dominica (2-0) on 10 September 2024.

The CONCACAF Champions Cup is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF. The tournament is contested by clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is the most important tournament in CONCACAF club football. The winner of the CONCACAF Champions Cup automatically qualifies for the FIFA Club World Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

The games will be played over the next seven months across League A, League B and League C.

The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League is the latest edition of Concacaf’s men’s national team competition and involves 41 countries.

The DR is playing in League B against Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bermuda, Bonaire, Curacao, Dominica, El Salvador, Haiti, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Martin, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Sint Maarten.

The fourth edition of the tournament is played during the FIFA Match Windows of September, October, and November 2024. The Finals, where a new champion will be crowned, are scheduled for March 2025.

• Group Stage: September 2-10, October 7-15, and November 11-19, 2024
• Quarterfinals: November 11-19, 2024
• Semifinals: March 20, 2025
• Final and Third Place Match: March 23, 2025
