The St. Regis Cap Cana is set for opening 14 March 2025 on the southern stretch of the Punta Cana beach resorts stretch. The hotel is already taking reservations.
The hotel is described as St. Regis Hotels & Resorts’ one and only hotel in the Dominican Republic. St. Regis is a luxury brand of Marriott International.
The hotel was designed by Toronto-based Chapi Chapo Design, a architectural and design firm.
The St. Regis Cap Cana will feature 200 guestrooms and 36 suites, many with swim-out access. Among its standout offerings is the two-bedroom, 6,500-square-foot Presidential Suite, complete with a separate living area and ocean-view balcony.
The hotel will have a spa with 13 treatment rooms, exclusive beach access, four swimming pools, a fitness center, and the signature St. Regis Butler Service.
Guests will have access to the Jack Nicklaus-designed Punta Espada golf course, an 18-hole waterfront course.
The St. Regis will have nine restaurants. Celebrity chef Diego Muñoz has designed the menu for the Nina Restaurant. Other dining places are a Mediterranean-inspired eatery, a Latin tapas and cigar lounge, poolside grill, coffee shop, and a rooftop tiki-inspired bar.
The property boasts over 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space the designers explain they have infused with tropical glamour.
The hotel is located about a half an hour drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, with easy access from hundreds of destinations around the world.
