National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) authorities reported on the arrest of a Portuguese citizen at the Cibao International Airport for attempting to traffic in cocaine. The 45-year old unnamed woman was booked on a flight to Madrid, Spain. The cocaine was found hidden in her luggage.
Likewise, the DNCD reported confirming that the four French nationals who had trafficked with cocaine in their stomachs and would have flown out of Las Americas International expelled 340 small bags of cocaine. Three men expelled 126, 95 and 78, while a woman expelled 41 for 4.18 kg of cocaine. These were sent to justice for charges.
