Marriott International’s AC Hotels brand has opened the AC Hotel Santiago de los Caballeros. This is the second AC Hotels branded property in the Dominican Republic. A first had already opened in Punta Cana.
Nestled in the heart of the restaurant and shows area around the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration and the Gran Teatro del Cibao, the 140-room hotel offers easy access to iconic landmarks and the UTESA Convention Center. Santiago city is also a major medical services mecca and has good restaurants and shopping.
The hotel caters to leisure and business travelers. It features an 8th floor rooftop restaurant, an AC Kitchen serving European-inspired breakfast, multiple bars and lounges, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, cigar bar and an AC Lobby designed for socializing or business meetings.
“Santiago de los Caballeros, as the second-largest city in the Dominican Republic, is renowned for its cultural, educational, and economic significance,” said Brian King, president of Marriott International for the Caribbean and Latin America on the occasion of the opening.
