
Raphael de España is booked for two performances at the National Theater in Santo Domingo on 11 and 12 March 2025. Emergency services confirmed that the 81-year-old singer was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition. Just a day earlier, Raphael had appeared on another popular Spanish TV show, “El Hormiguero.”
Despite the health scare, the legendary singer is still scheduled to perform two concerts at Madrid’s Wizink Center this weekend as part of his “Tour Victoria 2024.” It remains unclear if these performances will go ahead as planned.

The news of Raphael’s hospitalization comes as a surprise to fans who have celebrated the singer’s recent successes. In addition to his upcoming tour, Raphael had just released a new album, “Ayer… aún,” a compilation of classic French songs. He had also been honored with an honorary doctorate from the University of Jaén, his hometown.
