Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is building a luxury hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. To be called Rosewood Punta Cana, the resort will cater to families. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2029. The hotel is going up on beachfront property within the Puntacana Resort & Club hotel and residential community, close by to the Punta Cana International Airport.
The Rosewood will have 78 suites, including overwater villas in an around 200,000-meter area. Eight dining venues are part of the new venture. Likewise, an Asaya-branded wellness center with fitness studio, salon and outdoor swimming pool is included.
Among the amenities planned, the hotel will have fully-serviced beach, sports facilities, event spaces and a children’s club.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is an international luxury hotel and resort company operating 31 hotels in 16 countries, currently owned by Hong Kong–based Rosewood Hotel Group. It was founded in Dallas in 1979 by Caroline Rose Hunt, the daughter of oil tycoon H. L. Hunt.
