Polish tourists are discovering Dominican beaches from Boca Chica to Punta Cana now that Anex Poland, the leading Polish tour operator, is flying direct from Warsaw and Katowice in Poland to centrally located La Romana International Airport, El Dinero reports. The service began on 27 December 2024, with increased passenger capacity starting 23 January 2025. The landing at La Romana provides a streamlined experience with expedited service to the hotels, compared to when arriving to the larger airports in the Dominican Republic.
The company is offering resort packages for stays in La Romana, Bayahibe, Dominicus, Punta Cana, Juan Dolio and Boca Chica.
