Adess and Superate would be joined in a super welfare agency, Direccion de Desarrollo Social, under Gloria Reyes, who at present directs the Superate program. The Presidency has not yet uploaded the decree to its website, but Decree 113-25 has been circulating.
As reported in Diario Libre, the Dominican government issued Decree 113-25 that will merge the Superate cards (whereby low income people receive cash deposits from the government) and the Administradora de Subsidios Sociales (Adess) into the new Ministry of the Presidency department.
