Two generals are directing the investigations at a mountain top site to find the whereabouts of three-year old Roldanis Calderón, son of Carolina Vargas Ureña and Efrain Calderon of La Vega province. The prosecutor for children and teenagers of the Public Ministry, Olga Dina is also in charge of investigations.
Over the weekend, six houses in the area were searched by the investigators. The child went missing on 30 March 2025 when known to have been playing with two little girls in Los Tablones de Manabao, the last town before the hike to the Pico Duarte.
