President Luis Abinader used his weekly press conference platform to present the Ministry of Education’s new STEAM focus, an evolution of STEM platform to include the arts in addition to strengthening of mathematics and sciences skills in Dominican public schools.
President Abinader invited to the Presidential Palace presentation dozens of students that recently scored high in regional robotics contests.
President Abinader and Education Minister Miguel de Camps highlighted how these are the students that will make up the workforce for the country to tackle levels of the semiconductor manufacturing process.
