The Chamber of Accounts, the government auditing agency, now under its new president Emma Polanco Melo, has made public several audits carried out by the past teams.
The audits look into the findings of the 2016-2019 term of the authorities at the Instituto Nacional de Atención Integral a la Primera Infancia (Inaipi) and others related to the ministries of Hacienda and Industry and Commerce.
In the case of the Inaipi, inconsistencies in purchases and others were found for around RD$800 million between 2016 and 2019.
