The director of Intrant, Milton Morrison has presented a complaint in the judiciary against DeKolor and its executives for major irregularities in the drivers’ licenses contract and attempted bribery.
Among the irregularities is one whereby a software would have been used to revert the originally 90% of the collections to the Intrant and 10% to the contractor. The change has resulted in a debt of RD$700 million to the company.
Once appointed to the position, Morrison ordered an audit and rejected extending the contract that would have expired in January 2025. DeKolor continues offering the service. Intrant says the procedures for hiring a new provider is ongoing. The contract dates back to the Danilo Medina administration.
