Nigerian Afrobeats superstars Ayra Starr, Shallipopi and Ruger are scheduled to perform at the Afro Nation Festival set for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from 7 to 9 November 2025.
According to the organizers, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian superstar Ayra Starr will be headlining the music fiesta, alongside American rapper, Sexy Redd and South African hitmaking star, DJ Maphorisa.
Afro Nation is a three-day annual music festival founded in 2019 by The Malachite Group to unite the African diaspora through music, dance, food and fashion.
The festival showcases African and international artists across genres such as Afrobeats, Amapiano, RnB, Hip Hop, Dancehall and more.
The annual fiesta, which featured Burna Boy, Wizkid, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj, held in Ghana, Puerto Rico, Miami and Detroit has evolved into a global platform for African talent.
The concerts in Punta Cana will take place at Pearl Beach Club and El Dorado Waterpark. Several hotels are accommodating the participants.
The event is marketed to residents in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Houston and Toronto with packages sold as part of the deal. Participants are recommended to book several days before and after the concert to enjoy the destination.
