The elite of the athletics world is meeting in Zurich, Switzerland for the Weltklasse Zurich, the grand finale of the Diamond League competitions. At Sechseläutenplatz (27 August) and Letzigrund Stadium (28 August), the world’s best athletes will battle for the prestigious Diamond Trophy in each category.
Paris Olympics gold medalist Marileidy Paulino is scheduled for the 400 m final on 28 August 2025.
Paulino is registered to race against Martina Weil of Chile, Lieke Klaver of The Netherlands, Amber Anning of Great Britain, Henriette Jaeger of Norway, Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrein, Isabella Whittaker of the USA and Natalia Bukowiecka of Poland. Her strongest contender is Salwa Eid Naser who is coached by Dominican Jose Ludwig Rubio.
