The New York Mets reported on how Juan Soto has set a new record for the New York Mets, when batting his 40th home run, on Saturday 13 September 2025.
With his Saturday home run in the seventh inning, he became the first player in team history to compile at least 40 home runs and 30 stolen bases in a single season. He set the record in the game the MetMets lost 3-2 to the Rangers on Saturday.
