Dominican Republic’s Paris Olympics gold medalist Marileidy Paulino moved to the semifinals in the World Athletics meet in Tokyo, Japan. Paulino qualified with a 49.85 time. The finals will be on 18 September 2025.
Paulino is performing in the Tokyo Olympic Stadium where in 2021 she won her first Olympic medal, a silver, competing in the 400m to an empty stadium.
