There are six Dominican ball players on the Top 20 list of game shirts being sold in the United States. Juan Soto, the man with a contract with the NY Mets worth three-quarters of a billion dollars, is the top Dominican, ranked number 6. He is followed by the former Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers, who now plays for the San Francisco Giants and is at number 7. Next, in number 10, is outstanding Fernando Tatis Jr, of the San Diego Padres and the Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter League.
A little bit further down the list is the very exciting shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds, Elly de la Cruz, at 14, and then Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who plays first base for the Toronto Blue Jays, is at 15. Finally, there is Manny Machado, another player from San Diego, at number 19.
Of course, it is easy to understand why Shohei Otani of the Los Angeles Dodgers can own up to having the number one best-selling shirt for the third straight year.
