
Oceanman organizes long-distance racing all around the world. This October 2025, the international event is coming to La Romana/La Altagracia to compete at the first Oceanman Dominican Republic.
The combination of outstanding beach, comfortable beach resort accommodations and the promixity to three international airports and the locations of Santo Domingo, La Romana and Punta Cana led to a quick sellout the Oceanman distance swimming event at Viva Dominicus Beach.
Viva Resorts by Wyndham is hosting the inaugural Oceanman Dominican Republic. The event is part of the world’s leading open-water swimming series and will take place from 10 to 12 October 2025, at the Viva Dominicus Beach and Palace resorts in Bayahibe.
The long-distance swimming competition attracts male and female amateur and professional swimmers from around the globe who were also prompt to register in the Dominican Republic Oceanman. Likewise, dozens of competitors are participating for the Dominican Republic.
Multiple categories and distances for all skill levels, from youth to seasoned professionals. Oceanman, Half Oceanman, Sprint, Oceankids, Oceanteams categories are on the program.
