Toronto Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr delighted his fans when adding four runs to the 13-7 defeat the Canadian team landed on Sunday 5 October 2025 when playing the New York Yankees. The teams are playing in the American League Division Series, the round of the Major League Baseball (MLB) playoffs where two best-of-five series determine which American League teams advance to the American League Championship Series.
In the American League playoffs, the Blue Jays and the New York Yankees are now tied leading the semi finals between the Blue Jays, Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Tampa Rays and Baltimore Orioles in the American League East division.
