What do the Central Electoral Board (JCE), National Institute of Transport and Transit Agency (Intrant) and Passport Agency (DGP) have in common? A recent report in El Caribe calls attention that the same technology provider that services Haiti is the contractor for technological solutions for the new ID, new driver licenses and new passports.
When asked during the 13 October 2025 press conference to comment on that a Haitian supplier had been contracted for key Dominican identity documents, President Luis Abinader said he was not aware.
